Prophetic Word

Yesterday morning I woke up sickly, with a runny nose and a sore throat I thought I had escaped, as my kids were recovered from suffering the same illness over the course of the week. Today while I was sitting in bed resting I was having my intimate time with the Lord. Studying the Bible and writing down every word he speaks, which is my practice, he was teaching me, and the Spirit was moving through me in my art. And the Lord said to me.

“I am not constrained by the limitations of your body.”

Showing me a vision of Jesus walking on the water. He continued

“I am the One who can make physically impossible things possible. You can be sick in bed and I can accomplish my will for you.”

He showed me some examples of how that very day the Lord God had been working his will both in me and on the Earth through my humble mundane life.

-Prayer and intercession

-Worshiping through creation (journaling, blogging, singing, art)

-Meditating on the Word

-Sitting and appreciating nature

And the he gave me a verse

-Colossians 3:23-24

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”

So I will rest. And I will abide in the knowledge that the One who holds the world by the power of his Word is holding me. That in him all I have is made more than enough. Glory to God. Thank you Jesus.
